Providing a skilled boat care service, both ashore and afloat, within a friendly, family-run environment

Owned and managed by two brothers from the third generation of the Wilson family, we offer sheltered tidal moorings, slipping, craning, scrubbing piles, lay up berths, storage ashore and brokerage for yachts (fin, lifting & bilge keels), multihulls, power craft and fishing boats up to around 12 metres in length, 12 tonnes and with a draft of up to 2 metres.

The yard and moorings are in a well sheltered position towards the head of Mill Rythe, a mile from Chichester Harbour entrance by sea (giving immediate access to the Solent and English Channel). By road we are five miles from the A27(M) south coast road at Havant with the A3(M) allowing us to be reached from London in approximately one and a half hours. Havant also has a mainline railway station with fast services to London (Waterloo) and Gatwick.

Our moorings are laid within the tranquil Harbour Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, set against the backdrop of the hills of the South Downs, while the yard itself overlooks the woods of Tournerbury Farm in the south eastern part of the island. For those who wonder, Hayling is indeed an island which in Roman times was reached by a causeway – but now has a permanent road bridge.

Very much a working boatyard without some of the marina type add-ons, we strive to offer a full range of moorings and recreational boating facilities on a friendly and personal basis, at modest cost.
